We started Hope for the Holidays in memory of our father, Phil Friona.

He was an incredibly kind and caring man and when he passed away in September of 2017, we wanted to carry on his legacy. We’re proud of all that he accomplished and want to pay it forward to others in our community.

We decided – since dad was born and raised in Niagara Falls – that helping someone from the Falls was a great start! We have been following the story of sweet little Anastasia. She was diagnosed with a a brain tumor just over two years ago. Sadly, Anastasia lost her eyesight – but she absolutely did not her spunk or spirit. Her mom, Lene’e tells us little Anastasia is doing well and working very hard. We are inspired by this little girl and her family – who refuse to give up!

We’ve put together a Valentine’s Day Care Package for Anastasia and will be celebrating her birthday in April, too! We also brought a little something for Anastasia’s brother, Chase.

If you would like to learn more about this beautiful two-year-old, you can follow her story on Facebook – Anastasia’s Army.

Part of our mission is to give in memory of others. We believe it is important to keep the memory alive of those we’ve lost. Let us never forget.
